Hi! My name is Lela Miller and I will be graduating with my BSN in May, 2026. Currently, I attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where I have served as Vice President. I am committed to equipping nursing students with resources to make them excellent both educationally and within their future careers. I am passionate about instilling value in others and advocating for needed-change. Upon graduation, I plan to work in the ER and pursue travel nursing. Outside of academics, I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, am a camp counselor, and love to travel! I lived in France for a while as an Au Pair, ask me about it sometime!

My name is Callie Robbins and I am the Arkansas Nursing Student Association's Vice President. I am a senior in the BSN program at Arkansas State University where I serve as the SNA President. Currently I work at NEA Baptist as a Nurse Intern and have also worked as a patient care tech. As a side job, I coach a travel volleyball team. I am originally from Southside, Arkansas but am living in Jonesboro for college. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and my dog Izzie. Advocating for nurses is something I am very passionate about, and cannot wait to do this as your vice president.

Hello! My name is Hannah Newcomb, and I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors as Secretary. I am a senior nursing student at Ouachita Baptist University, and I serve as the senior class representative for my cohort through my involvement in NSNA. I also enjoy staying engaged on campus through Supplemental Instruction tutoring for the junior cohort, and I am a member of the Women of Tri Chi Sisterhood on campus. I enjoy thrifting, scrapbooking, traveling, and collecting pins/patches for my jean jacket!

Hey! My name is Jacob Courson. I'm 27 years old and a BSN Junior at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. My original plan was to be a doctor, but I soon found my calling as becoming a nurse. I've worked 3 years in the hospital and love patient care. When I'm not at work or studying, you can find me playing with my cat, Ember, or reading a few books. I plan to work in Med/Surg and critical care units. I'm excited to meet new people and work with others in furthering the nursing profession.

My name is Emma Scott and I am a BSN junior at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. I would love to represent the ASNA as the Breakthrough to Nursing representative on the board of directors. I want to hold the Break through to Nursing position so that I can grow my connections and further my leadership experience. I am confident in my ability to make connections and boost SNA membership and involvement! I know this because I have leadership experience from other college organizations doing outreach to grow the organization.

My name is Jasmine Torres. I currently serve as the treasurer for UALR’s SNA chapter, and am running for the Publications, Marketing, and Fundraising Director. Being able to combine my love for media and simultaneously uplifting the nursing students in Arkansas would be amazing. The ultimate goal for my marketing would be to reach all nursing students in arkansas and even nationally, to make our voices heard. I would truly do my absolute best to represent ANSA through social media and public events. Creating intriguing media posts via TikTok and Instagram is something that I think is extremely important. Media can reach anyone around the world, and can drastically increase our chances for growth and opportunities. I would be honored to sit on the ANSA board and collaborate with the great people on it!

I’m running because I believe in the power of student nurses to lead, advocate, and uplift each other both inside and outside the classroom. Hi! I am Bri Mills, I attend the nursing program at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia Arkansas. I currently hold the historian position in our ASNA chapter. I am actually from Broken Bow, Oklahoma but I have known how to call the hogs since I could walk. I am very excited to see what the next year has in store and ready to be a part of what makes the nursing field different.

Hi, I am Nabeela Nusrat Teetheka, your candidate for District Director. I currently serve as Community Chair in my local SNA chapter, while working as a med passer and intake coordinator at the county jail and an ICU and CCU tech at Washington Regional Medical Center. My passion for nursing comes from serving others in every setting and under every challenge. I believe in connection, compassion, and collaboration. As District Director, I will work to unite our chapters, amplify student voices, and build stronger opportunities for future nurses across Arkansas. My name is Jenna McMillen and I go to school at Arkansas State University. I am originally from Conway, Arkansas. I am currently in the BSN program and will graduate this December. I would like to work in the NICU after graduating. I would love to be apart of SNA because of the ways it will prepare me for a successful nursing career. I value the leadership opportunities that SNA provides as well as the connections that can be made through this organization. I think that it is extremely important to advocate for nurses, and this organization provides that opportunity. My name is Hunter White, I was born and raised in Warren, Arkansas, where I grew up surrounded by faith, family, and good old southern hospitality. I come from a Christian southern Baptist background that taught me the importance of compassion, hard work, and serving others. When I’m not studying, you can find me outdoors hunting, fishing, or enjoying time with friends. I’m passionate about connecting with people and helping those in need. As a nursing student, I’m dedicated to making a difference in rural healthcare and being a voice for students not only in my district, but across the entire state of Arkansas.

I am a first-year student in Harding University’s Master’s Entry into Professional Nursing program. My prior education includes bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Spanish, and a Master’s in Biomolecular Sciences. After nursing school, I hope to become a nurse practitioner (FNP), serving in rural primary care for both my English- and Spanish- speaking neighbors and community. When not studying, I can be found participating in community events, spending time with my friends and family, or making something I saw on Pinterest, whether it is food or craft! I also am an avid reader—I would love to share recommendations with you!
